| Exploring the Mojave Desert: In the middle of the desert, on a hill about two thousand feet above sea level, sits an amazing drive in movie theater. Two shows for six dollars. Two screens and four movies a night. The roof is a stunning view of the Milky Way Galaxy, the walls are hills and twinkling lights from houses below or the head lights of trucks far off in the distance driving to destinations unknown. I threw a mattress and a quilt on the front hood of my car and watched two movies. |
