This was my first experience on a television show set in an outdoor stadium. I was the referee for a football game played in 1973. It was quite an interesting night in the Rose Bowl. Final wrap wasn't until one in the morning. Eight hours on the set, and I met very nice people. Being the referee was both fun and a learning experience on "Cold Case."
